I found some old paintings from 2011 that I did for a little novella zine called "Dynamite Alley" that me and old pal Devin wrote together. I still plan on re-working that story into a comic one day. Here are the scanned and lightly photoshopped paintings.
I forgot I drew this doodle after reading an article in a local magazine called "TOWN." I never sent it to them though because I was already pretty sure they would hate it.
the greenville news had a contest last october to hire a new cartoonist. they wanted editorial cartoons that pointed at "local issues." I never draw stuff like that so I thought it'd be funny to try. they haven't announced anything about it yet and i'm tired of these comics sitting on my computer so here are all the ones I drew. I still don't know if I enjoyed doing these or not.
Portrait/Poster commission, 2017.
These are the staff drawings and poster I made as a holiday gift for the crew at Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery in Greenville, SC. Everyone got their own custom poster with their drawing printed on it. The goal was to show the interaction between each person within the community. (Poster on the bottom) here are some watercolor paintings i did for the cover of my new book "Living the Dram." I immediately knew they wouldn't work because i'm terrible at painting. maybe one day i'll try again.
